			<description>A friend of my Mother's who teaches high school, suggested that my son (10, ASD) would benefit from a laptop at school.  My mother now plans on buying one as soon as possible.  I will have to negotiate with the school whether or not he can use it.  Has anyone supplied their child with a laptop, and did it work, not work etc? Our boys both have autism. 



The older one is more severely affected and possibly also has an intellectual delay. We built our house about 2 years before #1 came along and about 4 years before he was diagnosed but we managed to pick a suburb that had an education support centre on the same school site as the primary school - luck I guess!!
