Wanted to start this thread as I know there are several people already using GF CF diets for their family member with Autism. And others who are interested in finding out more or trialing it. 



Some research and many families who have trailed a GF and/or casein free diet has witnessed improvements in Autism symptoms - such as behaviours, continence, concentration, speech, skin issues, sleep, etc. Not all individuals improve, and not all individuals improve at the same level as others.  ...</description>

We have really interesting (but I am sure, not unique) food issues with our two boys - both on the spectrum. 



Courtney, the 12 year old LOVES food!!!!! He would eat just about anything and in any quantity. Probably luckily he has food allergies - he has Coeliac which is a food allergy to Gluten - a protein in wheat, oats, barley and rye. If he eats foods containing it his gut is damaged and his gut then doesn't digest and absorb the food as it should - ie becomes malnourished.  ...</description>
