WANDA

WANDA was created in June of 2008 from the imaginings of a band of people bought together from various walks of life for a Developing Active Citizens course.
The overall objective of Developing Active Citizens was ‘to increase the capacity of people with a disability to take up leadership roles within their community’.
The success of this 12months course had such a impact on the participants that WANDA was born to extend the success to other members of the community

WANDA Aims:
To expand and develop networks from the all areas of the community, promote a can do attitude, to gather strength to support members and consider the solutions, not the problems.

WANDA is available to every member of the community that want to be informed and participate in expanding their horizons.
